With a tracking force range of 4 to 5 grams, the SC35C provides for significant skip resistance. Sharing Shure's versatile Type I cantilever design with the M35S, the SC35C offers high-definition sound reproduction at all audible frequencies.

"for playback, its one good deal"
Feature:
came with everything you need to install it to a head shell and more. the little case is good for keeping all the accessories together.
Quality:
tracks very well, in spite of some of the records i've put it on. (quite impressive really) installation screws go through the whole cartridge body.
Value:
for what you pay, you cant do any better.
Desirability:
not top end, but will definatly buy a second time for a playback turntable.
Sound:
cost aside, the overall response of the sound produced is very smooth containing a pleasant degree of warmth. not too much, not too little.
Ease of Use:
installs like any other.
Support:
the best support is not needing any, works great.
Overall:
i expect it to keep on working for quite a while, i am well pleased.

"good turntablist needle"
Very stable, tracks well. Very good general purpose scrathcing needle. Better then the Shure m47 for quality if not groove tenacity. Doesnt burn records. Much better option for scratchers then antything Stanton makes.
