Ibanez Tube Screamer TS9 Overdrive Pedal

A solid-state pedal that somehow nails the sound of an overdriven tube amp, Ibanez's ever-popular Tube Screamer will drench your signal in sweet distortion.
Dressed in that timeless green outer chassis, the Ibanez Tube Screamer TS9 overdrive pedal fuels your signal with that tube-like tone heard 'round the world. This Tube Screamer gives you simple no-nonsense drive, tone, and level control layout -- and some of the same components used in the original TS9 models that we've seen sell for several times their original price since Ibanez halted production in 1984. See what the fuss is all about by pairing your axe up with one of the best names in the overdrive pedal game.

That Tube Screaming Overdrive

There's really no other pedal quite like Ibanez's Tube Screamer TS9. That rich, full, and creamy distortion just oozes from your amp, and you won't find another pedal that'll imitate what this classic tonal tool can do. From bright wailing screeches to dark overdriven rhythmic crunchy chugs, this baby will always bring an addicting wall of tone to your sound. Your TS9 features some of the same pristine and top-notch electrical components featured in the original design, so you'll know with your first stomp that you're working with a world-class name.

Dynamic Distortion with Just Three Controls

Your Ibanez Tube Screamer TS9 maintains the traditional three-control-knob layout it's been recognized for -- drive, tone, and level. Your drive control feeds in the amount of distortion you want added to your signal. Your tone knob dials in the amount of brightness or darkness you're looking for, and your level control will kick read more in the decibels. This control layout is all about serious tone achieved in simplicity, so you can get the sound you're looking for and get back to playing.

Instantly Recognizable and Durable Green Chassis

There's probably no other distortion pedal as widely recognized as Ibanez's TS9. Your TS9 features that same green metal chassis and stompbox design that you'll find on countless guitarists' pedalboards. This baby is durable -- it will hold up to many years of stomping and rocking, and always deliver that tone you'll grow to love -- if you haven't already -- as part of your own sonic signature.

Ibanez Tube Screamer TS9 Overdrive Pedal

There is no single stomp box more famous than the Ibanez Tube Screamer. Thanks to tubelike distortion, smooth sustain, fat tone, and acclaim by artists too numerous to mention, the Tube Screamer has been and continues to be the world's most popular solid-state overdrive. So much so that after production of the TS9 ended in 1984, used TS9s were going for as much as 4 times their original price at vintage shows a few years later.

I see this on about every pedal board. Finally gave it a try after at least eight or more OD's. It is what the say it is. Plain and simple and good sounding. Built heavy and the switch is quiet, no click. I started with the drive on 0 or 1 maybe the other night and just left it on. Done with tube amps and have gone to solid state. Turned my solid state amp into a tuber.
