Behringer PMH660M 8-Channel Powered Mixer with FX (400 Watts)
The Europower PMH660M is the most compact powered mixer in our groundbreaking new PMX series. Its super-compact 400 Watts, 6 mono channels plus stereo tape return configuration is a powerful solution that will exceed your expectations.

With our revolutionary CoolAudio amplifier technology you get enormous power, incredible sonic performance and super-light weight delivered in an ultra-compact mixer that is nearly half the depth and weight of conventional powered mixers.

Along with 6 high-quality balanced low-impedance mic preamps, there are balanced high-impedance line inputs for direct connection of line sources or high-output instruments. Each PMH660M channel features a monitor send, an FX send and a switchable -30 dB pad.

The PMH660M also has 'big mixer' features like a 24-bit/46 kHz effects processor with 99 great-sounding Virtualizer presets, two 7-band graphic EQs (one each for the main and monitor signals), FBQ Feedback Detection and dual 5-segment LED output level meters. Plus, it features a standby switch that mutes all mic channels, so you can play music during your breaks without having to change the channels volume controls and lose your mix. Adding to the list of features are the integrated Voice Canceller which removes vocals for karaoke applications, Behringer's Speaker Processing function for enhanced performance with Behringer Eurolive or other professional speaker systems and professional Speakon read more (r) connectors. The integrated carrying handle makes it easy to transport. read less

Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
I am very disappointed that the poweramp section can not drive loads less than 8-ohms for extended periods of time. It's knack for shutting down in the middle of a gig is inexcusable.
Sound
Sounds fine, when it works.
Features
Just the right amopunt of features. Nice effects.
Ease of Use
Very easy to figure out how to use.
Quality
You can not rely on this amp as a main PA. The amp shuts down if the output load is less than 8-ohms and most 2-way PA cabinets (i.e. woofer and horn with crossover)are about 6-ohms. This amp has failed at 3 out of 4 gigs. I had such high hopes for it.
Value
A great value on an amp that doesn't perform up to specifications is not such a great deal.
Manufacturer Support
Have not returned the unit yet, but did get a response to my concern about output loading restrictions.
The Wow Factor
Nice layout and not feature-heavy.
