Eight Wireless Mics for the Biggest Performances
The VocoPro UHF-8800 Pack 8-channel handheld wireless microphone system doubles the power delivered by the acclaimed 4-channel UHF-5800 Pack! If you're still passing the mic with this system in your rig -- you might be doing something wrong. With the UHF-8800 Pack in your rig, you can get up to 8 wireless mics going simultaneously, on 8 discrete UHF channels. It's perfect wherever you have a lot of voices that need to be heard.
Useful for Complicated Mic Situations
If you've got backup singers behind the rest of your band, you can give everyone their own channel with the freedom to move up front for solos. Or, if you're hosting a large panel discussion and want to have a couple mics in the audience for Q & A, you'll be covered with the UHF-8800 Pack. It would also be an awesome option for sporting events or contests where hosts or referees each need a mic to make calls or announcements. And yes, you could use this rig to put together the most alarming 8-part vocal harmonize-along party ever. Use your imagination -- the freedom afforded by 8 separate wireless mics demands it!
Color You Organized
Each of the 8 included microphones has a color-coded end cap matched to its channel on the receiver module, so you don't have to memorize 8 performers' names and put a bunch of sticky notes all over your receiver. A quick glance at the stage will tell you who's singing on which channel.
8 Channels, All The Time
The UHF-8800 Pack gives you the ability to run all 8 channels on separate frequencies (in the 900 MHz band) with no fear of interference. The system is fully FCC-compliant, and designed to be well-shielded against external interference.
Get the Mix Right
Mixing 8 individual channels isn't necessarily easy. The UHF-8800 Pack helps you out by providing individual Volume controls on each channel, to make sure that you get the balances across the mix. Each channel on the receiver has its own individual XLR ouput, and channels 1-4 and 5-8 have 1/4" mix outputs, too -- if you don't happen to have 8 channels free on your mixing console.
Each channel in the VocoPro UHF-8800 Pack has its own field-replaceable receiver module, so that each one can be easily removed and replaced if necessary, requiring no tools. The switch can be made without affecting the sound or functionality of the other channels. Each microphone is powered by two AA batteries and tests out at around 12 hours of total battery life, meaning you won't have to change the batteries halfway through the performance.
Lose the cables! It'll feel great! And don't bother getting a one, two, or four-channel unit if you know that you're going to need more versatility from your wireless mic setup. The receiver comes in a rugged 2-rackspace metal chassis, and a shoulder bag is included for your mics.
