"A great unit, I need to work with it a bit more out on live gig's."

Although it can easily control several add on powered monitors and a sub, I am hoping this will cut it as it stands for most gigs. In comparison to my friend's PMX2000, it is very quiet and has better control over the sound mix. The PMX2000 has a bit of noise (especially with the effects) and the controls are a bit touchy to adjust while playing a gig.
Sound
I either have a defective unit or the new 800 watt rating is messed up. It does not appear to have the same power and volume as my PMX2000 w/500 watts. It is very clean sounding and very low ( as in negligible) noise. In Channels 13/14, 15/16 and the CD/Tape, you need the volume way up to get sufficient sound. I hope to get through to Behringer and discuss what's up. It feels like it needs a +10db switch pushed in somewhere.
Features
The effects processor is great, the volume sliders are smooth and quiet. Overall a good looking unit and light. I am very concerned about the lack of reserve power.
Quality
It appears to be made quite well. A reasonable weight (23lbs). The controls are smooth and have a good touch to them. I am pretty carefull with my equipment, (use good cables, pack well, etc) bareing any accidents it should last quite a few years.
Value
I feel it is an excellent buy for the money.
Manufacturer Support
I have emailed them regarding the power and volume… read more issue, have not heard back yet. A holiday weekend, so I am still hopefull they will answer.
The Wow Factor
It looks great, my friends loved it. I really like the looks of it. I have other equipment, I wanted to downsize my gear, with less weight and bulk. I do not have to have this to do my present Gig, I just wanted it because it is way cool and I just hope it will have enough power. I'll know at tomorrow night's gig.
