I had one of the originals, back in the 80's. These aren't Carbon Graphite, don't have EMS active pickups, and lack a Trans-Trem. That being said, it's an awesome little guitar! The only thing I had to do was lower the action, after that, she played and sounded incredible! And the Wine Quilt-top is absolutely gorgeous. Combine that with the unbelievably low price, and it's practically untouchable. Needless to say, I now own two.
