Feature:
The effects processor is great, the volume sliders are smooth and quiet. Overall a good looking unit and light. I am very concerned about the lack of reserve power.
Quality:
It appears to be made quite well. A reasonable weight (23lbs). The controls are smooth and have a good touch to them. I am pretty carefull with my equipment, (use good cables, pack well, etc) bareing any accidents it should last quite a few years.
Value:
I feel it is an excellent buy for the money.
Desirability:
It looks great, my friends loved it. I really like the looks of it. I have other equipment, I wanted to downsize my gear, with less weight and bulk. I do not have to have this to do my present Gig, I just wanted it because it is way cool and I just hope it will have enough power. I'll know at tomorrow night's gig.
Sound:
I either have a defective unit or the new 800 watt rating is messed up. It does not appear to have the same power and volume as my PMX2000 w/500 watts. It is very clean sounding and very low ( as in negligible) noise. In Channels 13/14, 15/16 and the CD/Tape, you need the volume way up to get sufficient sound. I hope to get through to Behringer and discuss what's up. It feels like it needs a +10db switch pushed in somewhere.
Support:
I have emailed them regarding the power and volume issue, have not heard back yet. A holiday weekend, so I am still hopefull they will answer.
Overall:
Although it can easily control several add on powered monitors and a sub, I am hoping this will cut it as it stands for most gigs. In comparison to my friend's PMX2000, it is very quiet and has better control over the sound mix. The PMX2000 has a bit of noise (especially with the effects) and the controls are a bit touchy to adjust while playing a gig.

Feature:
This thing offers a lot for the money. Good eq's and feedback detection, as well as tons of hook up's.
Quality:
It's made pretty well but time will tell. I have had it for three months and it has been rented out a couple times and has been used for live gigs and monitor mix duty several times at lifes shows with no problems at all.
I was a little concerned about buying the Behringer mixers at first. I bought it as an emergency back up because all of my rentals were out and my source was out of the Yamaha Ex series so I bought two and so far I hent regtetted it.
Value:
Good value for the money. If you are on a budget this is your answer.
Desirability:
Depending on how well they hold up I will buy more. If I can get two years out of them as rentals I will buy more.
Sound:
Sound is very good. EQ on channels and the graphic EQ allow you to dial in some really great sounds. Very good for the price.
Support:
I emailed them regarding rack ears and and a hard case and got an answer from Germany in about 6 hours. Not bad.
Overall:
Some people complain about the power output on these mixers because they are rated at 400 watts per channel @ 4 ohm. Let me enlighten you a little. Everybody rates their stuff at 4 ohms. My Crown and QSC amps are sold at ther rated output based on 4 ohms. So are the Yamaha EX powered mixers. I run this thing with JBL EON 1500 passive 15" 2-Way speakers. They are very efficient and are rated at 225 watts at 8 ohms. About what the Behringer is putting out at 8 ohms. They are loud. I will daisy chain two EON 1500's together for a 4 ohm load getting the full 400 watts per channel and it's really loud. Don't complain just do the math.
