From Our Catalog
Behringer proudly introduces a first: a compact power mixer with everything you need to get your sound to your audience - just plug in your instruments and microphones, add a pair of speakers and you're ready to go. The PMX2000 gives you 6 mono channels with ULN mic/line preamps with peak LEDs, a -25 dB pad and switchable phantom power, the renowned super-musical 3-band EQ, an internal effects send, and a monitor send. In addition, you get 4 stereo channels: 3 with the same mic/line preamp, EQ, and sends but with left and right 1/4 in. connectors, and one especially configured for tape, CD, or MD players with stereo RCA inputs and recording outputs.

But that's just the beginning. The PMX2000 comes with a built-in 2 x 250 Watt power amplifier and a flexible master section, including two 9-band graphic equalizers that can be assigned to left and right main mix or to main mix and monitor out, augmented by a switchable low-cut filter for channels 1-6. Both graphic EQs feature an in/out switch for quick comparisons or bypassing. Power amp inputs are available for connecting external mixers or sound sources, and there are 3 preamp outputs for added flexibility. A footswitch connector allows you to remotely bypass the effects section with a standard footswitch. The main and monitor sections each feature individual level controls, a 5-segment LED level meter and a master effects send level control. In addition, the integrated limiter offers effective protection against speaker overloads.

Last but not least, the PMX2000 sports a built-in effects unit based on Behringer's award-winning Virtualizer Pro and Modulizer Pro effects processors and giving you 99 great-sounding presets ranging from standard reverb and delay to more unusual algorithms like Vinylizer, Magic Pitch, Vocal Distortion, and Space Radio, plus a number of useful combinations. Needless to say, all of this is enclosed in a compact, rugged enclosure with tough vinyl covering with high-impact protective corners and a practical handle. And all with Behringer technology inside, ensuring years and years of trouble-free use, no matter what you put it through.

"Excellent product at an excellent price!"
Feature:
This mixer is so feature loaded I could throw up! Three tone controls on each channel, multiple effects available, two power amps programmable as stereo or main and monitors.

Quality:
Brushed aluminum, well silk screened numbers on the controls, I owned Carvin and Mackie before but this is just as nice to my ears and eyes.

Value:
I looked at many different powered mixers. This one is the sweet spot of value and quality. I will buy a second smaller version for monitor use.

Desirability:
The mixer is bright, very techno looking and has a cool large Beringer logo on back. It has nice blue lights on front and cool lights for the two channel power amps that pulse with the music. These people really know how to put this stuff together! What a change from my old Carvin and Mackie boards.

Sound:
I'm playing a larger room with about 150 people. When we fired the new mixer up, we weren't able to push it beyond three on both channels. This guy has good power and I'd be curious to see how loud it got at halfway! Excellent effects and the tone is very crisp and clean. We love it!

Ease of Use:
Very easy to zoom in on good vocal eq's on the channels for the mic's. We kept everything fairly flat and great tone. Easy to hook up and use. PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST ORDER SPEAKON CABLES BECAUSE THE SPEAKER OUTS ARE SPEAKON ONLY!

Support:
Stuff works fine hope I don't need to use them!

Overall:
Our band is buying four more Behringer 15" speakers and one more Behringer power mixer. I love this stuff! Very 21st century! Like I said, very light, very bright, and very modern. Love it, will be playing with this new p.a. Friday night and enjoying it!
