From Telefunken's Alchemy Series, the TF17 joins the ranks of Telefunken's vintage-inspired phantom-powered condenser microphones. Combining an iconic mid-forward "German" voicing with modern FET technology, the TF17 is sonically bold with a punchy transient response, high SPL handling, and very low self-noise. It features an extended low frequency response, strong midrange, and a smooth top end. Whether the user is looking to add weight to a source or for a smooth voice to compliment, this microphone's rich character can enhance sound sources including voice, drums, bass, electric guitar, and piano. Designed with all recording environments in mind, the TF17 is perfect for home, studio, or stage.

The TF17 features a K47-style center terminated capsule, premium through-hole components and a high-quality UK-made OEP/Carnhill output transformer.

Buy this Mic! SERIOUSLY! If you've Been looking to upgrade from the prosumer arena to the BIg leauges look no further! The TF-17 is THE mic for vocals. Tracking right out of the Box, the TF-17 is full of Body and rich on the low end. The mid has a really clean Bump and the highs are smooth with the roll off on the sibilant frequencies. No eq with a small amount of compression and you could track artists all day long! This thing is an absolute beast of a mic, low self noise high spl, and the Build is Telefunken sturdy. Neumann has a run for their money with Telefunkens Alchemy series. I'm absolutely Blown away By the quality of this microphone.
