EMG 81 Bridge and Sustainiac Neck Humbucker Pickups

Lead fearlessly with the Hellraiser C-1's pickup complement: an EMG 81 active humbucker in the bridge and Sustainiac in the neck position. Your bridge pickup packs powerful overdrive and a full and heavy distortion perfect for rock or metal, and the Sustainiac neck pickup captures and retains an endless and spine-bending sustain from your strings via the two-way switch next to your Hellraiser's bridge. Flip the switch to kill the feedback and turn your Sustainiac into another sweet-sounding neck humbucker. Both pickups are shielded in protective casings to keep out rust, dust, and sweat, so your tone will always be clean, pristine, and uninterrupted.

The folks at Schecter have made a living introducing innovative instruments for professional and amateur musicians alike, and the Schecter Hellraiser C-1 FR Sustainiac is no exception. Guitarists that enjoy soloing will love this guitar with its ability to produce an incredible amount of sustain thanks to the EMG Active 81 pickup and Sustainiac Driver. Artists absolutely hate when they have to spend time constantly making sure their instrument is in tune, but with the Grover tuners on this Schecter electric you'll forget all about it. Working musicians always worry about the safety of their guitar and their livelihood, but with the mahogany 3 piece neck this Hellraiser electric is durable during transport and on-stage.

Grover

The original Rotomatic with an improved higher ratio gearing. The 18:1 ratio provides for finer tuning and greater stability. The finer gears provide smoother tuning and a higher degree of backlash elimination

Rosewood

The most common fingerboard, Rosewood is naturally oily, and works well for any surface that sees frequent human contact. The sound is richer in fundamental than Maple because the stray overtones are absorbed into the oily pores.

EMG Active 81

The 81 is at its best for high volume overdrive and amps giving it a razor-sharp attack, and incredible sustain for brilliant soloing.

Sustainiac

This Driver/Pickup produces beautiful Humbucker tones when Sustain switch is off, and works as the Sustainiac Driver when switched On. The Sustainiac Driver creates an infinite feedback sustain of string vibrations by electromagnetic feedback.

Neck

Made with 3 pieces of mahogany for extra stability. 3 piece necks can withstand the test of time. Where standard necks may show aging defects from temperature and moisture changes throughout the years, the 3 piece neck will stay nice and straight for a lifetime of playability.

I didn't want to start off like a lot of players and review this instrument without getting to know every nouance of this finely crafted ax.First off of course was a string change which there were no expected problems and I could of done this myself with no problems but it was in need of a good setup so I took it to a luthier to whom I've known and trusted for many many be years and he confirmed what I thought it needed a truss, string height, and intonation setup after all I should of known better to buy a guitar in winter lol. Well after getting it back from my friend the Sonic sounds one can achieve from this beast is unreal. With the addition of my headrush pedalboard and 2× frfr 112s I've not put this guitar down for more than a solid day and I have been able to get some vary inspiring works recorded after a final block befour taking the plunge on which has become my new go-to guitar so please don't hesitate to also invest in this quality guitar and yes it will be an investment as it will only grow with you and in time be priceless to you as well well I hope this helps anyone thinking about it and we're on the fence about it.
