After the introduction of their Flat MIDI Cables, Rockboard got a lot of feedback, regarding orientation and size of plugs as well as requests for affordable MIDI Cables with plugs that could be both - angled and straight. They're happy to oblige and took their design team to the task. The result you can see in the RockBoard FlaX Plug MIDI Cables. Based on their slimmed down Flat MIDI Cable design, these cables offer flat and compact plugs with a omni-directional construction. They can be adjusted to be either straight or angled to the left as well as to the right, and locked into place using two hex key set screws. Anything goes with the RockBoard FlaX Plug MIDI Cables.

It’s a cable and it’s not a ton of money. You get what you pay for. I liked the idea of the swivel. I just wish it went side to side instead of up and down. Kind of renders the 90 degree angle useless on a pedal board, unless I suppose you angle it through the cable grommets... I’ll probably just cut the plastic pieces off. Who knows?
