Orange Crush 12 Guitar Combo Amplifier

Get that punchy tone Orange is known for in this tiny amp. Simulate the sound of a monster 4x12" Orange cab in your headphones with the CabSim technology.
The smallest of the full-format Crush models, the Orange Crush 12 combo amplifier is designed for guitarists with a no-nonsense attitude to quality tone. Featuring a powerful 3 band EQ, dedicated overdrive control plus the CabSim-loaded headphone output means huge tones at whisper quiet levels.

Forget any preconceived notions of practice amps. Made in Orange's state-of-the-art factory, the overhauled Orange Crush range sets a higher standard for quality, introducing players of all levels to the essence of Orange.

Orange's mission was not to reinvent the wheel, but to buck the trend - you won't find any sterile digital amp modeling here. Building on the huge success of the critically acclaimed Crush Pro models, Orange incorporated the same high gain, 4 stage preamp design into the Crush range.

This means responsive overdrive and detailed levels of saturation never before heard in a practice amplifier. Powerful analogue circuits create amps with 'gut punch' tones which react like their bigger brothers in the Orange family, whilst the CabSim feature faithfully emulates the muscle of an Orange 4x12" cabinet through the headphone output.

This is a fantastic little amp.For the price I've not found anything that competes with it.The three EQ controls are very responsive to the slightest adjustments and there are a multitude of good sounds to be found. The clean sounds are terrific, really superb. The only shortcoming, to me, is when you crank the gain and the overdrive. If you "dime" the two, the small 6" speaker doesn't really respond all too well. (If you want a small inexpensive amp with serious crunch get the next size up, the Crush 20. I had one and it's a feisty little bugger.)I bought this primarily as a "sofa amp" for light jamming when I don't feel like being assaulted by my Randall and Marshall artillery pieces.I heartily recommend this little beauty and rate it five stars across the board bearing in mind that it's just a small practice amp.Oh, and be sure to get the orange tolex model; it looks so darn cool!
