Overview
Konig and Meyer's entry-level, low-priced microphone stand, the 25400 boom microphone stand provides solid reliability and durability at a great price! The practical swivel joint allows the one-piece boom arm to be simultaneously positioned for tilt and length. Thanks to a low weight of only 4.057 lbs, it is particularly suitable for the mobile musician. The stand requires little space, as its base diameter is only 25.984". The large foot end caps help to make the stand stable and reduce unpleasant transmission noise.

I couldn't find any reviews for this before buying, so I was a little worried about the quality, after reading comments here about an On Stage boom mic stand that couldn't hold its boom up. For it's price, this is a well made, sturdy, stable stand. I've had my Studio Projects B1 microphone (a fairly heavy microphone) on it for hours with no slippage of the boom. In fact, when tightened, it's nowhere near the slipping point, very solid. So I am pleasantly surprised with this stand, and would recommend it to anyone but musicians on the road, not sure it could stand up to that kind of abuse. If anything goes wrong with it, I'll change my review, but things are looking good.
