Feature:
I play all the instruments in a rock band so with this PA I can leave everything hooked up and ready to play.I have digital drums and an acoustic kit, a behringer bass rig, a guitar stack, a keyboard and 4 mics of vocals, plus a karaoke player and a DVD player and I can leave it all hooked up at once! That is AWESOME! With 2 effects engines and the Voice Cancellation, EQ and Spatial Effects this Mixer is Feature Packed!!!
Quality:
The fit and finish is superb. But I would like to see a stronger metal frame used maybe in the future. After a long session I worry about it running a little hot, but so far so good. I've owned my PMP 5000 for about 4 months and run it at least 12 hours a week and I've had no complaints. I can crank it really loud and it has actually got me invites to play partys for my neighbors who like what they hear!!!
Value:
I would pay $800 for this powered mixer.I plan on buying a 2500 power amp and a couple 18 cabs. Behringer ROCKS!!
Desirability:
This thing is a Beauty. I love the handle on the mixer and just getting a TRUE 20 channels with extra tape ins and outs is great. This is the third PA I've had and so far its the best!
Sound:
The sound quality and volume of this mixer is outstanding. Just make sure you run 2 each 8 ohm speakers on each channel for a 4 ohm load. Alot of morons are saying they expected more power and they are only running one 8 ohm speaker. To drive the amp you need a 4 ohm load.I use this for live rock band rehearsals and record them onto a DVD recorder. Just supply any video input, like a screen saver or vcr cam and this is the cheapest way to a quality recording. Even with all the inputs going it is nearly silent and the volume is great.
Ease of Use:
This thing is simple and forgiving. I haven't had a single problem with feedback. The only feature I didn't get right away was that when you adjust the trim, you want the level l.e.d. to STAY LIT and maybe turn it down just a tad. When you do this the volume is there baby! And STILL no Feedback!I'm experimenting now with using the monitor outs for rec outs so I can just amplify what I want but record it all. Just run 1/4 to rca cords from your monitor outs to your rec device and you can pan sources by having the mon1 high and the mon2 low, giving you a pan effect for your 2 channels! I do this to separate the 2 guitars!!!The only drawback to this system is you need insert effects.
Support:
I have heard complaints about service, but I don'y know I've never needed it so far. I have a buddy that introduced me to Behringer and out of the 3 PA's and a bass amp he owns only his smallest PA lost one channel but he says he beat the snot out of it for 2 years before it blew! I'm buying some Behringer rack mount effects and more Bass gear because you can't beat the value and quality!
Overall:
Like I said I'm going to expand this system with 2 1800x subs and maybe 2 215's, powered by a 2400 watt amp plus 2 powered 15's for stage monitors! This rig should be as big as my band will ever need! With Behinger's prices I can afford a little overkill!!!

Feature:
It came with the cords needed to power it up. I just love the effects you can do with it.I had my son plug into the board and he started sounding like the beginning of some Pink Floyd songs. The 12 ports let you plug everything into the PA and let it all come out the speakers and subs. With the Euro 2500 amp I'm getting 3000 Watts
which is good enough for outdoors.
Quality:
It is made to last. the finish is so cool.I love the dark grey as opposed to the silvery PMH finish.Like I said I just got it 2 weeks ago so I am still on the fence about reliability but all my friends who have had Beheringer boards still have them and they are still pumpin out the volume!!I hope this board will last for years and years. All my friends have had great sucess with them.
Value:
For the features and the clarity of sound I think its the best investment I have ever made.
Desirability:
Its definately a 10!! It just looks cool just sitting there.Easy on the eyes. The handle is just fantastic!! I never seen handles on other boards this big.Lightweight for its size and easy to carry.
Sound:
My God this board for the price and the quality of sound reproduction is fantaetic.I can't wait to try it out on its first show which will be in a weeks time.I have been using it in practice and the power is just really good in a small hall and I just can't wait to try it out in a large room with the large room effects!
Ease of Use:
YEAH boy to every thing!! I haven't had it very long but all indications point to the fact that after you play with it a while
you will learn to get better at it the more you use it.The Manual
might be a little sketchy though but its enough to get you through.
Support:
When it first cane in it somehow didn't work when I hooked it up.I paniced and called Beheringer support. We went through it step by step
and found the problem. The board wasn't in the right mode. When I swiched the 3 way switch to the right one it fired right up and has been goin faithful ever since!!
Overall:
I have just started this company so I think its going to work very well.I chose it for the price and I will keep it hopefully forever.
