this thing is cool. it holds my microphone while I am recording. sounds simple and non thrilling, but; it's rugged ''all metal'', the rubber feet really hold it all in place, even when placed on a branch of a tree or the roof of a car, it's small and that's good, it fits in my pocket, and is not noticable while I'm hiking several miles to a location in a forest.
