Xvive A58 Digital 5.8 GHz Wireless Guitar System

zZounds Gear Experts Say...
Operating on the less-crowded 5.8 GHz band, the Xvive A58 wireless system lets you go cord-free without dropouts. Compatible with active and passive pickups.
Overview
In order to offer customers more wireless frequency options, Xvive has developed a wireless system that uses the 5.8 GHz band: the A58 Guitar Wireless System. The 5.8 GHz band is a less crowded frequency band, so it's less likely to encounter signal interference; the 2.4 GHz frequency, meanwhile, performs better than 5.8 GHz when there are obstacles between the transmitter and the receiver. The A58 System has been fine-tuned for improved performance and guitar tone.

"These are Great!"

I've been a U2 user for quite a while. I was amazed how much better they worked for me than more expensive Line6 and Boss units. When it came time to replace the U2's I knew I wanted something in the 5Gh range. I tried the big buck Shure unit and it was amazing, but the pack was heavy and it didn't really work that much better than my U2's did so I returned it from the local store and ordered the A58's from zZounds for a 1/4 of the price. The A58's are just as easy to use as the U2 and they are a little bit smaller. About 1/2 shorter and not as wide. They come with a nice hard shell case that fits easily in my gig bag. I've played these out a few times and I've not had any dropouts and do not notice any degradation in my tone. Even in my apartment where I can scan 30+ wifi networks I don't have dropouts. These are great units for the money. The only minor downside is they don't bend upward like the U2's do, so you can't see the status LED when you are playing. I highly recommend these wireless units.
