I don't expect to buy another mixer for a long time, maybe ever, unless I have a serious career in music. That said, this mixer is very solid for turntable use and should be good for a long time. I didn't even realize it had some features that actually will turn out to be very cool if I follow them up, namely the constant-level recording output and the headphone preview thing.

Sound
This product sounds excellent in almost any situation. The crossfader works excellently and seamlessly, keeping the sound very clean-sounding. I use this mixer with two Stanton STR8-80 turntables and the overall result is very good.

Features
The mixer has a feature that lets one preview the next track before it is played, and this is essential to all people who would need to beatmatch (house, techno, trance etc. DJ's). The killswitches are crisp and work excellently as well. There is one "send" output for an fx loop (reverb, delay, etc.) but more than one would be nice, especially after having seen the wide array of options with the mixer in Propellerhead Reason.

Quality
I have only had this mixer for a week or so but there has been no deterioration of quality. It has a really solid feel to it and I don't expect it to break anytime soon. Besides, the Penny and Giles crossfader is replaceable, and even comes with some lube to keep it running smoothly over many years of use.

Overall, this is an excellent product and a solid buy.

Manufacturer Support
I haven't had the need for support yet but am very confident that if I do have that need, it will be quickly fulfilled.

The Wow Factor
This product, with its clean chrome design, is somewhat sexy. It is more attractive in its simplicity and clean layout than in anything else.
