"Best wireless for the buck anywhere"
I'd hate to part with this thing, but I heard at NAMM that Sennheiser has new goodies on the way. If there is a trade up option, I'm all over it and would love to just be rid of the big bag of Shure's dumpy earphones that bite my head off everytime. Don't get me wrong, I like my 600 rig, but why bother just to satisfy an freebie. Our PM is talking now about making that move if management is on board. Fingers are crossed, rabbit's foot in hand, voodoo doll is...nevermind.
Sound
The Sennheiser IE3 earphones sound incredible and far better at lower sound levels than any other earphone I've used. Bass is tremendous, but wonderful and clean with excellent tonal balance. Far superior to the Shure E5s and E3s that we have given to our entire band and crew. I find them far too bitey and 2k heavy for my taste. The 300 is easy to navigate and setup. I have two channel set version and just have consistently excellent sound.
Features
I would love a real comp in this thing but the "limiter" (really a pad) is nice but useless.
Quality
There is lots of bang for the buck. Feels like something substantial and stands up to my road wear and tear.
Value
For 800 bucks, I haven't heard anything that looks as good, sounds as good or works as well in a wide range of environments. Stadiums, arenas, halls, clubs, its all good.

I actually had lost my case and spoke to someone at Future Sonics (who apparently make the earphones) who sent me foam sleeves and a nice leather-type case. They also (I haven't done this yet, but I want to) make a custom earpiece for the IE3s.
The Wow Factor
As wireless gear goes, the sexiness of the beltpack is marginal, but the finish blends well for both crew and performer.
