Overview

The Allen and Heath CQ-12T wireless digital mixer gives you 10 mic + stereo line channels, with responsive and intuitive touchscreen control. CQ is built on a 96 kHz platform capable of smart processing and rich in connectivity, network, Bluetooth, wireless options, SD and USB.

The CQ range consists of fully featured mixers that can fit in a backpack (or soft case), in three form factors -- two desktop models with hands-on control and a rackmount/stage box model. All use the same apps and same firmware but have a slightly different feature set and price point. With the CQ range, A&H have created a super portable and easy to use, but still fully featured digital mixer, suitable for technical and nontechnical users. Okay so my digital mixer needs could be different from yours but here’s how I use this mixer. I’m a content creator and needed a mixer that can be run as an interface for Logic at gigs. I previously had the TouchMix8 and was bummed that you can only multitrack to a usb device. It’s adding one extra step of transferring data that’s eating up productive time in my workflow. I also have to add the audio to the video once it’s edited and prefer the multi tracks incase my signal to my cameras aren’t balanced. The CQ12 doesn’t have the A&H WiFi onboard(which I prefer) so I can use my own router and control the network. The most impressive thing to me is the size. It’s tiny and has 10 analog inputs plus a stereo LR ts(12 total). I opted for the rack mount ears to complete my gigging box(roadcase with GoPros, MacBook Air, cabling and mics). I got mine at blemished pricing but would’ve happily paid the new rate! Wedone Allen & Heath and thank you zZounds for the hookup
