"Puts my 2019 Les Paul Standard 60's to SHAME"

The title says it all and I absolutely hate to say that because I've been a Gibson fanboy my entire life (and I'm 50 years old, been playing for 40 of those years)...but it's true. The PRS S2 McCarty plays better, sounds better, feels better, looks better- and it's $750 cheaper. The pickups are the import versions of the 58/15 set and they're so harmonic and rich, I can't believe how much better they sound than the Burstbuckers. Don't get me wrong, a Les Paul is a fabulous instrument and has a history with musicians all over the world; but when something is just as good or better then that's how the mop flops and I'll be honest about it. Only issue I had at first was a buzzing in the bridge on 3rd string. What it turned out to be was the intonation screw and once I adjusted it the rattle went away. Plugged in I couldn't ever hear it even on a clean channel so I knew it wasn't the frets or anything like that. Anyway if you're a fan of the Les Paul and the Strat do yourself a favor and check these babies out. You'll be glad you did.
