Um, it's threaded for just a normal microphone stand, so if you need a camera tripod and you don't have an extra camera tripod or you have extra microphone stands laying around, this is a great option. And it really helps you, um, it really helps you adjust how you're going to place the microphone stand because you have this pretty universal telescoping joint here.

It's very easy to tighten. Your camera just threads on here, and then this threads onto any microphone stand. This has been extremely sturdy in my use of it. It's constructed of metal, I feel like it would last a lifetime, and it's very easy to use. And obviously, it turns any microphone stand into a tripod.

Please note: The rubberized mounting pad on this unit can mar / react with any ABS or similar plastic on your digital recorder or similar device!... I don't think the material has been cured properly, and it will compromise the finish of your unit...
