Lewitt Audio MTP 5S Handheld Cardioid Dynamic Microphone with On/Off Switch
zZounds Gear Experts Say...
Lewitt added an on/off switch to their MTP 5 cardioid dynamic mic, making it a great fit for emceeing events, panel discussions, as a talkback mic, and more.
Overview
Available here as the MTP 5S model with a built-in on/off switch, LEWITT's MTP 5 Live Vocal Microphone uses a tailored dynamic capsule for exceptional stage sound. It delivers outstanding clarity and high-end response, capturing every nuance of your voice and cutting through the mix without the harsh sibilance that many other microphones have.
It provides outstanding isolation from stage noise to avoid muddy or harsh mixes. It lets you run your stage monitor speakers loud without having to worry about feedback issues thanks to the highly efficient cardioid polar pattern. LEWITT has optimized the off-axis frequency response of MTP 5 specifically to suppress the high frequency content from other loud stage instruments like drums so you can maintain a clean vocal signal.
To ensure MTP 5 will withstand mic drops and rough touring wear for years to come, the mesh, grille, and body are made from rugged full-metal materials. The metal ring serves as a natural barrier for artists who tend to cup the mic and together with the optimized position of the capsule, you get a cupping-safe design. To minimize handling noise, the capsule is rubber-suspended, and the integrated windscreen is washable to keep the microphone hygienic for whoever is using it.
On/Off Switch
The MTP 5 Live Vocal Microphone Switch version expands its range of applications and makes it also suitable as a talk back microphone as well as for emceeing events and panel discussions.
