I'll start off saying I am a guitarist of 39 years. So this pertains to guitar review on a cabinet and micing the Marshal Cabinet with a V30 Anniversary speaker and a Creamback H in a 2X12 cabinet through a ZOOM L-20 mixer. I usually use my SM-57, mix it sometimes with an AKG P120 condenser and my new favorite Drum mic DM80 by Nady. Yeah, its really old of about 20 years and it works surprisingly great together. But right now I am mixing the sm57 o0n the V 30 with the new Lewitt MTP 440 DM on the Creamback H. Sm-57 is sounding a bit darker and maybe more flat in comparison to the Lewitt. The Lewitt is bringing out sparkling more chiming notes on clean tones and leads. So it sounds really nice, but its sounding very full of all the lows, mids, and highs in the recordings. More rich. I think I will have some fun with this mic and its picks up loudly very fast! So its not nearly the amp as closely needed as the other mix and still loud. Definitely a beautiful mic for this price. Built very well and rock sturdy.
