Stereo output and digital effects.
Overview
This new model is just as compact as the Shenandoah Jr but offers an expanded preamp section, stereo output and digital effects. Though small in size, the Shenandoah Stereo 60 pumps out 60 watts of power and projects warm, articulate tone from its dual 6.5 in. speakers and studio quality lush stereo Alesis digital effects processor with 16 preset programs.
The pre-amp has 2 separate channels, each with a 3 band EQ with sweepable midrange for flexible control of possible offending frequencies. The preamp offers one XLR mic input (with phantom power) and two 1/4 in. instrument inputs which mix together for additional versatility for use with multiple players. The rear panel offers a left and right XLR direct output and a headphone jack with a speaker on/off switch.
The cabinet design incorporates a stage monitor shape for added flexibility during performances. This shape allows the amp to sit upright or tilt back at a 30 degree angle and also enhances the tone of the amp. Tilting the cabinet back helps to reduce "boomy" low frequencies and augments the projection of the mid frequencies. All-in-all the Shenandoah Stereo 60 will serve as a reliable and valuable tool for the professional or hobbyist performer.
