The Fuchs 112G guitar cabinet is a design that finds its roots in the classic EV-Theile design which many amp companies and players have embraced for decades, due to its stellar tone and very compact size.

While seemingly a simple ported box design, Fuchs built it with architectural grade poplar light plywood with a birch outer shell. This combination is used on all the Fuchs bass cabinets for its favorable inherent strength to weight ratio. The cabinet is solidly braced internally, but with a controlled resonance that's favorable to the guitar frequency range. The interior of the cabinet is lined with damping to control resonances and make the speaker act and behave like it's in a larger box. This gives a tight solid low and great projection. The cabinet is coated with a durable textured sprayed coating that does not damp the cabinet like tolex might, it's very durable too. The hardware is premium grade Penn-Elcom hardware. The cabinet features stacking corners and a recessed carry handle.
