The Electro-Voice EVOLVE 50 G2 is part of the second generation of the EVOLVE portable column loudspeaker family. It keeps the EVOLVE's easy assembly while delivering up to 2 dB higher maximum SPL and improved portability for DJs, bands, production companies, event organizers, and venues.

The system pairs a 12-inch subwoofer with an eight-driver column array and a 1,500-watt amplifier, reaching 129 dB maximum SPL. Upgraded DSP features such as music ducking and switchable 48V phantom power are controlled from a larger color LCD screen. The subwoofer's laminar flow vent design enhances low-frequency output and efficiency, and the system suits events of up to 300 attendees.

The EVOLVE 50 G2 works with the QuickSmart Mobile app to control it as part of a system with other Bluetooth-enabled Electro-Voice portable speakers. Industry-standard XLR/TRS combo jacks, stereo RCA and 3.5 mm line inputs, and Bluetooth true wireless stereo (TWS) streaming are included. A carrying bag for the column and pole is included; a padded soft cover or rolling case for the subwoofer is sold separately.
