From the look, tone, sound both acoustic and amplified, this turned into a very impressive guitar for its price. I've played for more than 50 years and owned some great classic guitars. For a handy, keep by my side, take to a sudden gig, guitar this has it all. They said it's for beginners. Yes, definitely, start beginners off on a quality, low cost guitar. As a pro, great to have this in my arsenal. It's always by my side and I play hours on end with it. The short scale is nice and the neck is like playing a good electric. Only con is the tuning machines. The ratio is unsatisfactory and like most cheap tuners they just aren't accurate. BUT, once this girl is in tune, she's in tune. I mean, SHE'S IN TUNE every time I pick her up, every time I take her out, every time I neglect her for a couple days; she's in tune every time. Not something I'm used to.She's also nice to look at with her natural finish and the lovely fretboard inlays (which I don't see on very many Breedlove guitars.
