The Boss stereo FV-50H, though light and compact, has high input impedance, and therefore can be directly connected with a high-impedance (Hi-Z) unit such as a guitar. The Minimum Volume knob allows you to set the lowest volume at any level you like, depending on the type of performance you're going for. The FV-50H also features a Tuner Out jack for quick and easy tuning during live performance.

The high-impedance FV-50H is designed to be connected before guitar effect units in the signal chain.
