I have always wanted a Gibson LP but never pulled the trigger. Not that I don't have the means to buy one. I have been looking at Epiphones for years but I never have seen one put together quite like this one. If I were to buy a regular Epiphone LP I would have done all the changes that already come with this one. It is already upgraded and setup fantasticly. Looking at the price and all that come with this, it's a no brainer. I know that people that see the Epiphone logo on the headstock will think like I used to until I played it. I own a Gibson SG custom and I think this guitar holds it own right up next to it. I watched many blindfolded videos of people trying out both Gibson and Epiphone and there is little or even no difference in playability and sound. Epiphone knocked it out of the park with this one and I would highly recommend it!! If you don't believe me watch YouTube on it. There are plenty of videos covering it.
