I thought this would be a favorable upgrade from my p125. Some nice features but the speakers are not robust and facing out instead of up. The new action is awkward but playable. The player does not have the connection as the P125 does in my opinion. The body feels flimsy. Smaller is not always better. Nothing feels right after a week of playing it. I was forcing myself to like it so I could recommend it to my students, but I am honest with myself and disappointed. P125 is still a better beginner-to-pro piano minus the CFX. I'm sure Yamaha knows this P225 was a big mistake and will upgrade soon. They are a great company, but this is planned obsolescence at its best. To be clear, just because I am unhappy with this board does not mean it's zZounds fault. They have always been fair with me for many years on price and satisfaction. This is a Yamaha issue only and hope to see their R&D step it up as they have in the past with great products.
