Following in the footsteps of the popularly acclaimed PS800, SoundTech is proud to offer a further refinement of its "smaller, lighter, and more powerful" Power Source Series. The PS802, which yields 800 Watts in a scant 1 space high, 15.8 lbs. rack mount package, is a heavyweight performer in a flyweight package.

The SoundTech PS802 achieves its small size and light weight by using a highly efficient, hybrid switch mode power supply, which reduces the need for bulky mains transformers. Weight and size savings are especially important for portable sound applications; whereas smaller, lighter amplifiers yield daily savings in transportation and labor.

The Power Source Switch Mode power supply and Class-H Output circuits combine to yield a 20% improvement in energy efficiency, while retaining the punch required for today's challenging music.

Complete Protection is provided, shielding speakers from unsafe conditions, including DC faults, on/off transients, and under/overvoltage conditions. Full protection from AC mains faults is also an integral part of PS802 design.

Vari-Speed Dual 1 in. Fan Cooling keeps the PS802 operating safely from idle to full power, under conditions from nominal to adverse.

Versatile Inputs allow connection via balanced XLR connectors or unbalanced 1/4 in. phone jacks, giving reliable connection to professional and semi-pro equipment.

The PS802 is covered by SoundTech's 5-year "Built-Tough" warranty.
