"Always wanted one..."

Feature:
Of course it's fricken beautiful! The only thing I can do without is the on/off switch on the front. It is easy when performing on stage to move your hands/fingers and accidently turn it off when in the moment and getting crazy.

Quality:
Very durable!

Value:
a little expensive to me but I'm cheap & starving...

Desirability:
I want to marry it and have a thousand of it's babies!

Sound:
Good sound! SHURE microphones in general hold the highest quality in sound. Not only is this microphone the super model chick of microphone hottness it sounds amazing and clear. Everyone can be a rock star with this mic.

Overall:
This microphone is timeless. I've always wanted one since I was a wee little one watching the movie Streets Of Fire. Diane Lane looked so hot using this microphone as a kidnapped singer/rock star in that movie!

"you will love this mic"

Feature:
less is more to me

Quality:
rock solid. shock asorber built in so you do not get stand noise

Value:
good value for the money,built road tough

Desirability:
nice looking, looks good on stage

Sound:
the sound of this mic is awesome, clear as glass,s's and t's so clear!!

Support:
have not had to use support

Overall:
if i lost it or it got stolen i would buy it again

The Model 55SH Series II provides the Shure classic UNlDYNE II design coupled with modern acoustic components to meet today's performance standards. This microphone is excellent for vocal pickup with its characteristic Shure presence peak.

The 55SH Series II has a cardioid (unidirectional) polar pickup pattern that minimizes sound pickup from the rear of the microphone. This allows the Model 55SH Series II to be used in close proximity to loudspeakers without creating feedback problems, and it can perform under adverse acoustic conditions where omnidirectional microphones cannot.

The 55SH Series II has a low-impedance balanced out-put designed for connection to microphone inputs rated at 75 to 300 ohms. The microphone features a cartridge shock mount to reduce stand noise, an On/Off switch, and an attached, self-tensioning, 5/8" 27 thread swivel mount.

This microphone is ideal for public address or theater-stage sound systems, as well as for broadcasting, recording, and other sound applications where a stand-mounted microphone with a classic look is desirable.
