I got this hihat to replace the stock hihat on my Alesis Strike Pro SE kit. I never cound ge the Alesis hh to trigger correctly. I thought maybe it was the settings in the module, but after fiddling with it for a week, I decided to order the Roland. What a difference! This hh is way more responsive. The surface feels more like a real hh, providing better stick rebound. The sensitivity si spot on. It mounted and connected perfectly to the SE module. It's a bit pricey for a hh, but at least now I don't have to worry about configuring it every time I go to play.
