The Luke 3 is Steve Lukather's Ernie Ball Music Man signature guitar. The slightly larger body and familiar soft v neck shape provide a comfortable feel while the DiMarzio Transitions Humbucker and custom-wound single coils provide a dynamic range of tones. The Music Man preamp maintains even volume over all 5 of the pickup selections and offers up to 12 dB gain boost accessible from the push/push tone pot.

Luke 3 HSS is an awesome guitar. It looks good, feels good and sounds good at everything I play. The neck the rosewood fretboard and roasted neck were my main motivation for getting this. Made just about all my other guitars sound like toys, aside from my American Strat. Jazz, funk, and rock all sound sweet played on the Luke 3.
