The Hartke AC150 offers full, clean acoustic tone. With four 5 inch speakers and a 5-band graphic EQ, the Hartke AC150 is a good option for live performance.
Overview
Hartke has taken its experience in building great sounding bass amplifiers and brought it to the field of acoustic guitar amplification with the introduction of the Hartke Acoustic Ribbon Series. Perfect to go from the coffee house to the night club, the AC150 is a 2-channel 150-watt acoustic guitar combo.
Designed in a precision tuned Kickback enclosure, with four custom-voiced 5 in. full ranged drivers arranged in stereo, and a 2 in. by 4 in. ribbon tweeter, the AC150 naturally recreates the sound of the acoustic instrument without adding any unwanted coloration or distortion. Channel 1 has active and piezo instrument inputs, with bass and treble controls, while channel two has XLR microphone and RCA line inputs. There is a 5-band graphic EQ and a built-in 100 preset 24-bit stereo digital effects processor, which can be routed to either channel.
The AC150 features a 150-watt tri-amped design, with 50 watts powering the left and right full range speakers and 50 watts powering the high frequency ribbon tweeter. To reduce feedback, there is a phase switch on channel 1 as well as a variable notch filter with depth control. On the rear panel of the amplifier there is an effects loop with stereo return, and stereo XLR direct outputs.
Simply put the Hartke Acoustic Ribbon amplifiers sound like your instrument, only louder.

"HARTKE AC150 ** THE BEST ACOUSTIC AMP FOR THE PRICE!!!!"
I think I may purchase one more of these to take to use at at eh church I attend! It is so much easier to reproduce high quality sound quickly and reliably.
Sound
This amp does an incredible job reproducing acoustic sound. I play a Taylor T5 and Taylor GS-8 through it and am extremely satisfied with the performance. I play gospel music. I needded a practice AMP. I tried out a few acoustic amps with similar watt output. Fender SFX II, Crate, to name a couple - in my opinion this guitar out performs them. The price is right too! I loved the RCA jack. I hook up my IPOD and practice with the music - great feature!
Features
Take a look at the back of the instrument. There are plenty of options to loop or send the output to the PA. I love the versatility of this amp. The appearance is very pleasing and the build is high quality. Does not feel or look cheap.
Ease of Use
I read the well written manual before I attempted to use the amp. I very quickly produced the sound I wanted. In additions I found sounds in the digital effects that were a blast to play with! The effects are so easy to use too!
Quality
Made very well as stated above. The amp is a bit heavy - but I am not carrying it around.
Value
I do not think you will do better for the $$ paid. I paid new 429.00 with a 3 year warrentee.

I have not had to call the company. But I hear they are very easy to call. I may call just to say thank you for a well built and great sounding amp! It is so nice to hear the guitar sound and not garbage!
