I purchased this guitar to use as a prop for a vid, but... The set up, right out of the box was comfortable. When I plugged it in, we noticed there was NO 60 cycle hum. Took it out on 2 gigs since purchase and didn't need to use my gate. As for set up, that was good right out of the box, no fret buzz, no sharp edges on frets. Finish is flawless. Worth every nickel of the $200. If you want a good instrument and working with a limited budget, check this one out (or one of the other configurations, HSS, H HT).
