I am completely dissatisfied with the product and worse yet, I am out 100% of the money I paid for it.
Sound
This wireless system is very sensitive to different settings. The feedback is unstopable if you don't find just the right settings and the book was not all that helpful in recommending a place to start.
Features
The cord from the body pack to guitar is much longer than it needs to be. It could have been half the length and been just about right. I have to stuff the excess cord into a pocket to keep if from snagging stuff on stage or walking through a crowd.
Ease of Use
Again, it would be easier to use if the instructions didn't assume you already knew how to set-up a wireless system.
Quality
I set the system up and tested it in my studio. I took it on one gig, and it worked fine. The second gig I took it to, it failed to function. The following day, I replaced the transmitter battery and smoke came from the unit as it fried itself. I returned it per AT's product support guidelines for a warranty repair. Guess what; the damage is not covered under warranty. The service tech and manager both explained that since the damage was caused by a battery that leaked, they considered it a form of abuse. I explained that I used the correct battery per the instructions and did nothing wrong or abusive but they refused to repair the unit under warranty.… read more
Value
This product is not worth the selling price and the manufacturer wills not see a penny of my money from this point forward.
Manufacturer Support
Support? What support. I'm stuck with a nonfunctioning wireless system. AT could have helped me out. Nope. They chose to insist I abused their product because the battery leaked.
The Wow Factor
The appeal of a wireless system to me was purely functional. I only used it during sound checks at live venues so I could walk around while me and the rest of the band played and I would adjust sound levels. I still plan to use a wireless as I just described but it won't be from this manufacturer.
Musical Background:
Active, giggin musician.
