"Yamaha APX3 C'mon do you really need a Taylor or a Martin???"
I've had the Yamaha APX 3 for nearly 10 whole years now and without any doubt in my mind this guitar is, for lack of a better word...perfect.
I know some of you out there will think 'Yamaha, perfect?' but until you've played the APX 3 then theres really no way to make you understand. I've had many friends tell me recently that as i am a fan of a very high end treble sound that i should be looking at getting myself a Taylor.
Listen guys i know these large comapnies are selling expensive guitars that they will say have the best wood make the best sound etc.. etc.. well i will say it straight, my APX 3 cost me 299 british pounds in 2004 and to this day i am yet to find a guitar sound i enjoy more from 'higher end manufactures' than this one from Yamaha, personally i think taylor's and martins etc.. should drop their price to suit the quality of this one. If you want to save over 1000 pounds, yes that's 1000 pounds, then get this guitar!! In 10 years i've had no problems with it other than some cosmetic damage due to the fact that i play with rings on, oh well that just makes mine even more unique if im being honest. I've seen some reviews of this guitar that say that the neck will bend lose action bla bla bla, well i'm not being funny had mine nearly 10 years i've treated it mean over that space of time gigged it loads thrown it around in it's case dinged and bumped it all over the place and still it sits next to me daily without batting an eyelid and giving me the sound i want,…

do i want another accoustic?? NO!
The only reason i would even think of having another one these days would be if someone gave me one for free and even then i'd probably sell it and get something else, like a holiday.
This guitar rules, if you haven't tried one yet then i whole heartidly suggest you go out and find one, bring it home with you because relationships come and go but this guitar will always be there looking and sounding beautiful.
