Taylor A10e Academy Series Dreadnought
Playing the A10e is an enjoyable guitar experience. Taylor's guitar design expertise makes the A10e guitar that is easy on the hands and helps you sound great from your first strum. Taylor Academy Series guitars will inspire everyone from beginners to seasoned players looking for a great guitar at a great price.
Taylor Academy Series was designed with developing players in mind, so the goal was to create as comfortable a playing experience as possible. The guitar body pairs layered sapele back and sides with a solid Sitka spruce top, and incorporates a feature normally reserved for premium instruments: a built-in armrest that softens the edge of the body's treble-side lower bout.
The ES-B pickup incorporates Taylor's Expression System 2 piezo design elements and features an onboard preamp with a built-in digital chromatic tuner. The preamp/tuner unit features an LED display for tuning and low battery indication, along with Tone and Volume controls. The preamp/tuner is powered by two button cell 3v lithium (CR2032) batteries. Two batteries will provide approximately 300 hours of use. The ES-B conserves battery life using a standard on/off system that will automatically turn off if left on over 3 minutes. A low battery indicator on the LED display (located on the preamp circuit board) will display an "L" when the battery reaches 4.5 volts.
sleek, hand-friendly necks feature light-gauge strings and optimized dimensions for a slinky feel.
A Comfortable Armrest
This ergonomic feature is built into the guitar body to offer a more relaxed and rewarding playing experience.
Besides clear tone and impeccable intonation, these guitars are voiced to respond easily to a player's touch.
these guitars are engineered to last a lifetime. The patented neck and durable body design make these guitars easy to maintain.
An emphasis on design simplicity enabled us to produce a fully engineered Taylor guitar at an entry-level price cut to enhance the playing comfort.
The patented Taylor neck features a slightly shorter 24-7/8-inch scale length, 1-11/16-inch nut width, and light gauge strings, which make fretting and bending strings easier. Tonally the Dreadnought's body dimensions produce a bold response with a warm low end and punchy treble, making this a great option for developing players looking for a full sound.
Onboard ES-B electronics include a built-in digital chromatic with an LED display for tuning and low battery indication. Whether you're at the front end of you guitar journey or just looking for a great strumming guitar without breaking the bank, the A10e will serve you well.
