This limited edition walnut/cedar Grand Symphony boasts a big, warm, responsive voice. Walnut blends the dry tonal character of mahogany with maple's player-reflective attributes. Combined with the touch sensitivity and warmth of a cedar top, players can expect a quick response with a huge range of tonal colors. Fingerstylists, players who use Celtic tunings, and anyone craving a big response from a light touch will love this guitar. Strummers will find that the guitar responds best with a slightly softer attack yet still produces plenty of sonic power and dynamic range thanks to the bigger GS body and Taylor's Performance bracing. Visually, the walnut back blends color variegation, bold grain structure, and bookmatched figure, while a figured maple mini wedge adds visual contrast. Maple is also featured for the neck, binding and rosette. The fretboard inlay is a laser-engraved Italian acrylic Victorian design. Additional features include a Venetian cutaway and our onboard Expression System 2 electronics.
