I received my Gibson les Paul standard 50s in Bourbon burst a few days ago and was happy that zZounds shipped the factory box inside another box. Arrived in good condition. I always wanted a 50s model because of the neck but never saw one that jumped out at me until I found one on their website. Purchased it immediately. The figurine on the maple Is amazing and the bourbon burst complements it even more. There isn’t a flaw on this guitar anywhere. The binding on the neck is perfect. Absolutely no regrets buying this guitar and look forward to many years of playing. I’m so proud of this guitar. Thank you zZounds!
Warm lows and clean highs. but I play through a multi FX unit so I can pretty much make this guitar sound however I want it to. Does very well on its own though to.
I would have to say that the least feature about this guitar would be the weight. 1 ounce shy of 10 pounds. But it’s a Les Paul and I can except that.
Ease of Use
I play through multi effects unit so sound is not an issue. I will say that playing through a clean channel the guitar sounds amazing on its own. Volume and tone very responsive
Build quality and fit and finish is excellent
In my opinion this is the best priced les Paul 50s there is.
Manufacturer Support
Never any issues with Gibson.
The Wow Factor
I would have rated the quality and wow factor a 10 if it was an option. Can not stress enough how Beautiful this guitar is.
