The Taylor 217e-SB Plus LTD features layered Indian Rosewood back and sides, solid Torrefied Sitka Spruce top, west African ebony fingerboard and bridge, black binding, upgraded bracing, and award winning stage and recording ready ES2 electronics. The patented Taylor neck joint ensures optimum playability and intonation. The 217e-e SB Plus LTD ships in a travel ready, reinforced brown Aerocase.

I received this guitar and was so mazed. First the Aero Case is beautiful and inside lined in Blue. The case is well built and guaranteed to protect the guitar when going from Gig to Gig. The Guitar was just stunning in looks. The SB burst is just beautiful. The gloss body and the appointments do this guitar justice. The black binding just compliments the Rosewood and Burst. What I really liked was the guitar came with Ebony bridge pins. So I take the test drive. The guitar rings out and had a very long sustain. This guitar handles strumming and flat picking quite well. Now keep in mind that this guitar is C Braced and provides a lot more bass response which was a real nice feature. The Torrefied top does give the guitar a sound of a fully opened mature guitar and you can hear that while strumming. The guitar does not hold back. It has a lot of sound and volume. The guitar is so easy to play and just comfortable to hold. I played this guitar at a past gig last week and the guitar sounded great plugged in and when you know you have the right guitar is that you do not think about the guitar, and it just does what the owner tells it to do. All I can say this guitar is a home run and keep in mind that this guitar is limited to just 1,974. So you better act quick on this one. Yoe will not be disappointed.
