24-bit A/D and D/A converters. Adjustable gain on digital I/O. Digital fade in/out.

The CD-RW750 is TASCAM's budget-minded CD recorder, but features came first when the product was designed. Like most products in this price range, the CD-RW700 offers unbalanced I/O, and S/PDIF digital I/O in coax and optical format. However, this product stands above the crowd, with a RAM buffer, 24-bit A/D and D/A converters for premium sound quality, digital gain adjustment, and digital processing of fade in and fade out from 3 to 30 seconds. It's also got a monitor function that allows it to be used as an A/D converter or sample rate converter, without the need to place a recordable disk in the tray or enter record mode. And of course, it's the only one in its class that will rack mount with the rest of your gear.

TASCAM CDRW750 CD Burner Customer Review

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I might spring for a TWO cd drive version of the same unit. It's a nuisance having to run to a PC to make copies of my masters.
Sound
I'm a 30 yr classical musician converting large classical record collection. Makes LP to CD recordings with flawless fidelity.
Features
But... wish you could browse forward and backward during playback as you can on a PC. Without this it's hard to locate flaws.
Quality
Have burned hundres of records. No complaints. It's a good idea to burn on CD/RWs so that if you make a mistake in queing or compiling your master (from an LP) you can simply erase the last track and resume your recording from that point. For example, on 4 sided LPs, you need to perform 4 starts correctly - without pops or noises.
Manufacturer Support
Called Tascam for help with automatic track identification. Got Tech Support top level help in minutes, very patient and competent.
