Overview
The ultimate in comfort, convenience, and performance, feather-light AIRLINE Series transmitters have made bulky beltpacks and cumbersome connecting cables obsolete. AIRLINE'S super efficient UHF circuits operate 14 hours on a single "AAA" battery introducing a new level of freedom to professional wireless performance. The revolutionary AirLine transmitter plugs-in directly to your bass. There is no body pack! The AIRLINE Bass system includes the AP1B UHF Receiver (looks like a stomp-box) featuring 1/4 in. unbalanced outputs.
The Airline UHF Bass Guitar System eliminates body packs with a tiny micro transmitter that plugs right into the bass guitar. The AP1B, the system's receiver, is designed to easily integrate into an effect pedal setup and features a shape circuitry yielding a fat bottom end and fullness never before heard in a wireless system for bass.
The revolutionary AirLine "plug-in" AG1 transmitter comes is designed for traditional end-mount inputs. Less than half the size of conventional body packs, this miniaturized transmitter runs on a tiny triple-A battery with 14-hours of battery life. It features an array of on-board controls: A Power On/Off and Mute switch, red/green LED for Power On/Off, a Peak LED and an Input Level control for different pickups. And UHF (Ultra High Frequency) means clearer frequencies with less interference.
Designed for use with your compact effect pedals, the APB1 diversity receiver gives you reception you can always depend on. "Great little device - beware of problem with the switches"

Sound
For the best quality sound, you really can't beat a traditional wired setup. Even major bands that are really into the quality of the sound they produce live (Dream Theater) are going back to wired on stage. For the money, though, this unit sounds great. I purchased this along with wireless headphones so I can walk around the house (inside and outside) and rock on my guitar. Total freedom!
Features
It's great - just plug the transmitter into your guitar, plug in the base station, and off you go. It has a squeltch control, as well as other features.
Ease of Use
It's very easy to use.
Quality
It's fairly lightweight construction. There are little black plastic switches on the units. I rarely move the 15 P DAB switch as I usually leave it in the "on" position. It's right next to the "power" switch, so I moved it once on accident and it broke right off! Really surprised me. I can still flip the switch with a pen, but it makes me wonder when the power switch is going to break. Then I'll really be upset.
Value
For the money, quality, and convenience, this unit is a great buy. Just beware of the poor-quality switches. If you've ever worked on a plastic model (say, putting together a model airplane) and had to snap off the invidual parts from their holder - it's kind of like that.

They provide phone number and e-mail for tech support. Waiting to hear back from them now. Hopefully they'll fix the switch at no charge to me, and hopefully this problem is not worthy of a recall. What good is fixing the product if it's only going to break again?
