Cioks DC7 Pedal Power Supply

With a surprising 48 watts of power distributed among 9 outputs, the Cioks DC7 power supply is ideal for compact, yet eclectic pedalboards.

The highly anticipated and long-awaited Cioks DC7 is a thin, flexible and unique power supply for effect pedals from Danish power supply specialists Cioks. The groundbreaking DC7 has a one-inch (25,4mm) profile and weighs 1.1 pound thanks to the pure 2-stage switch-mode technology inside. The profile may be low but the power ratings are certainly not - the DC7 puts out a maximum of 48W from its 9 outlets and allows the user to connect multiple high-current effects such as devices from Effectrode and Eventide without noise of any kind.

Cioks DC7 features 7 isolated DC-outlets for effect pedals each with four selectable voltages. Each of the outlets can put out 6W which corresponds to 660mA of current at 9V. Additionally the DC7 has also a 5V USB outlet and an auxiliary 24V outlet.

The DC7 is expandable with Cioks and other compatible power supplies powered with 24V DC for even more isolated outlets and even more flexibility. Combined with the large set of Cioks Flex cables included we are confident in that this is the most flexible, noise-free solution in the market for powering pedalboards with a multitude of different pedals.

I was searching for power supply I could power three 18 Volts pedals and , some 12Volts and 9 Volts. In total 11 pedals. Most of power supplies ( actually all of 'em) have only one 18Volts port and only 100to 200mA..Not enough to power Diezel or other similar pedals. DC 7 have 7 outputs and each and every one can be set between 9,12,15 or 18 Volts. Each port have 660mA which mean you can power up 4 or 5 9Volts pedals. All cables and connectors are included. You can power up all pedals like with reverse polarity , vintage DOD , 3,5mm plugs...name it. Totally I connected 11 pedals and still can connect few more. From the time I connected DC 7 to my pedalboard I understood what really "clean power " mean. My most noisy pedals become much much more quite . Also the look of this unit is great. Only one inch thick . This is really new generation of power supplies. Don't be scared by price. This unit is worthy any penny . Simply the best power supply I ever used.
