The PRS SE Custom Semi-Hollow offers warm tone and great value. The SE Custom Semi-Hollow features SE humbuckers for powerful response.

The PRS SE Custom Semi-Hollow offers all the great features you would find on Paul Reed Smith's solid body SE Customs with the addition a hollowed out chamber to provide a musical mid-range and internal reverb that provides a tone like no other guitar in its class. From the mahogany back with a maple top, 22-fret wide-fat mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard and cutaway design for access to the upper register, you get a very light and playable guitar. The SE humbuckers add that powerful tone that PRS SE players worldwide have been coveting since the very beginning.

I expect this to be a permanent part of my collection, and would definitely attempt replacement if anything unfortunate were to happen to it.
Sound
Excellent value for $$. Plays, looks, and feels like it cost 6x the price despite being Korean made. I'm playing it through a 1979 Peavey Artist 125 tube (6L6)amp and a Roland Micro Cube for practice and low volume situations. Near infinite sustain in overdrive w/o effects pedals. The hollow spaces in the body impart a really nice tone.
Features
Includes a deluxe gig bag, master tone and volume knobs, with a 3-way pickup selector toggle switch. I wish it had a hard case, but suppose concessions have to be made somewhere for the reasonable price.
Ease of Use
Very easy to play with a medium width rosewood veneer fingerboard.
Quality
It's as though PRS himself is inspecting each unit before approving its shipment with no flaws on my example. I have the natural finish w/tortoise pick guard, and it is gorgeous.
Value
Absolutely, YES, this is major bang for your buck!
Manufacturer Support
Have not needed repairs, and have no warranty experience with PRS, so I really can't comment here.
The Wow Factor
Way sexy looking, especially if you like "blondes", and utterly devoid of any wizz-bang technology gimmicks. This is just a straight-ahead slick playing tone-meister that can also shred with the best of them if required, making it a very versatile axe.
