Many details are not visible to the eye but are necessary in providing you with the finest product available.

The ConcertCast-ST Series is somewhat different from the conventional headed design ConcertCast pads. This is totally different technology with the exception of the durable cast shell and heavy-duty chrome counterhoop. The ST pads have a laser cut bottom grill (Trans-Grill), laser etched logo, R.A.D.D (Radial Arch Dissipation Design), and are virtually hollow - just like an acoustic drum! The tracking and dynamics are the most advanced in the industry!

I will be keeping this pad for sure. In fact, I'll be buying more to replace all the rubber pads on my set. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
Sound
I was using a Roland PD-80R as a snare, but felt it was too small for a snare. I took a chance on this drum as a replacement. I have to say I like it MUCH better! It is larger and I actually like the feel of it better also. The stick noise on the mesh head is very quiet also. The rim triggering is perfect. I would recommend putting some clear silicone-type tubing around the rim to quiet that part if you want to, as the rim is metal. Overall, Very Impressed with this great Drum!

Looks Great! Really adds to improving the look and feel of my e-drum set. Cable is included. (Mine was missing, but they promise to send me a replacement)
Quality
Product seems very well made. The shell is METAL! The quality of the chrome parts is excellent.
Value
For the price, this is a must buy if you are looking for a great mesh-head drum. This drum is HALF the price of a Roland PD-80R and it is as good if not Better!

The Wow Factor
A definite improvement to the look of your kit. Especially to replace rubber pads. Rubber pads are hard on your wrist and slow you down. I can play faster and much more comfortably with the Pintech Mesh Head. I would recommend upgrading all your rubber pads to these Pintech mesh heads!
