The PDP Concept Series Black Wax Maple Snares offers a dark, smooth, matte finish from a hand-applied, wax-based sealer. This specialty snare features a 10-ply European Maple shell that produces mid-range pitch with full attack and warm tone, while the wax sealant shows off the understated beauty of the Maple grain.
Like all Concept Series snare drums, all the Black Wax Snares are outfitted with PDP's dual-turret lugs and DW's MAG throw-off and True Pitch tension rods for precise, stable tuning. World-class drum heads from Remo make these snares ready to play right out of the box
