Orange Dark Terror Guitar Amplifier Head

The Orange Dark Terror is metal, figuratively and literally. The Dark Terror features heavy-duty construction that lends it a high degree of durability and helps create its distinctive aggressive sound. The incredibly responsive volume, shape, and gain controls, and the convenient effects loop, give the Dark Terror accessible tonal and stylistic versatility, but the Orange Amp's high-gain, strong mid-range output is optimized for the dark and dirty depths of Hard Rock and Metal.

For even more intimate applications, the Orange Dark Terror can be dialed down to a delicate 7 Watts.

Menacingly small, easily recognizable, this aggressive little amp comes with a mind-blowing sound which combines the Shape control of the Thunder series with the weight and size of the monster Terror family. This Frankenstein-like amp has creepy amounts of gain on tap with disturbingly pleasurable responsiveness. It is uncompromisingly brutal, doubtless unhinged, even ferocious!

The Orange Dark Terror rises from the ethereal depths to fulfill the every desire of the Heavy Metal and Rock guitar players. With its characteristic fearless Orange Amp looks, heavy duty construction and portability, guitar players everywhere will quickly become attuned to this scary dark force of nature.

Hear its distinctive Orange Amp sound and you will feel this mysteriously attractive force pulling you into the shadow of the Dark Terror. It's everything you want from an Orange Amp. Prepare to ride the Dark Terror storm.

Hendrix to Pantera and beyond this head can do it all with A crazy amount of gain and tone shaping I look forward to the getting this head because I played this head for 30 minutes at the local guitar shop
The head is made for metal and it creates that sound. Very Well. I like the fact that this has a great amount of gain built in so you don't need a boost or distortion pedal mostly and when it's Cranked it's amazing the best way to describe the shape knob in the middle turned down is a Peavey 6505 mid heavy crunch then when the shape middle knob is turned all the way up the sound is scooped and heavy warm like a Randall minus some of the dryness and harsh high end With the gain Down it is the usual awesome clear tube tone and add a tad of gain and crank the volume some and there is a great blues sound but the real intention is to turn everything to 11
An effect loop is great for well.. Effects! The power clip 15 to 7 watt switch is nice when playing at home or stuff like that
Ease of Use
3 knobs and a switch this head is stripped down to basics
Not sure yet but the head is cased twice with like a 1/4 inch of metal so it should be OK
This an insanely awesome with endless killer tones totally worth it and great for recording
