Overview
Meinl Marathon Exclusive Congas set a new standard for their range. These congas are not only perfect for the ambitious beginner, but they include many professional features. The shells are made from rubber wood (Hevea brasiliensis Muell.-Arg.). In order to achieve the typical Meinl stability, 2-ply staves are glued together in a "sandwich" manner and formed into a shell. The select buffalo heads enhance the open sound tonality of the Marathon Exclusive Congas. Meinl's SSR Rims made from 3.2 mm chrome-plated steel are rounded for increased playing comfort and prevent detuning. Meinl Marathon Exclusive Congas include an adjustable, chrome-plated Meinl Steely Stand.
